Hi,
I am 10 weeks pregnant and i can't hold anything down. I throw up most everything I eat. I've been to the hospital twice already to be rehydrated. They gave me a pill for the nausea(which worked ), but whenever I try to eat anything I end up throwing it up. I am soo hungry and weak and don't know what to do. The liquids stay down, but then I eat and they come up too. I've tried eating small meals, bland diets, and dry diets. Can anyone help?? ...frustrated and hungry |

| When did your morning sickness start? I've read that it normally lasts just for your first trimester so maybe it will be coming to an end soon. Good luck! |

| It will pass I promise. I was sick for almost 3 months, but once it was over i was perfect and wouldn't change this for the world. when I was sick I didn't think it was worth it. |

I know EXACTLY how you feel! Luckily I am way past that now (Thank god!) I went through the same thing I was starving, couldnt eat anything but wanted to soooo bad! I remember wanting to drink a gallon of anything I could get my hands on! I was so thirsty! I couldn't function at all, it was like a 24/7 flu! Throwing up became like breathing for me! it was TERRIBLE! Finally I told my doc at my next appointment and guess what there is a perscription for it! It is a MIRACLE! I loved it! I could eat! and drink! and smell things without getting sick! I had to stay on the pills for almost half of my pregnancy! Dont listen to people who tell you that all day sickness isnt that bad or that it only lasts for a couple months! I am living proof that that is not nessescarily true for everyone. Mine lasted a hell of alot longer than "a couple of months"! So honey there is help out there and if you are uneasy about taking medication while pregnant I completely understand I am not going to tell you that it is completely safe because I dont know youll have to talk to your doctor but I needed the pills because it was alot better than not eating at all! I've stopped everything harmful to my baby from smoking and drinking coffee to taking hot baths and laying on my back. As far as we know my lil girl is as healthy as a horse in there. So if you really can't eat then you should talk to your doc about the pills to help with that! I hope this was of some help to you! Good luck! |
